Midsummer walk and camp
Midsummer camp – experience the longest day and the mysteries of the Preseli hills of Pembrokeshire.
18th June – 22nd June.
Take some time out and absorb the richness that midsummer brings at our private basecamp.
You will walk and experience the magnificence and mystery of the Preseli hills of North Pembrokeshire. A sacred land set apart from ancient times, an ancient neolithic pathway with stones especially chosen to form the inner circle of Stonehenge.
Witness the longest day, we will arise to greet the rising sun and follow the day until the sun melts into the ocean of the horizon.
We will establish a private basecamp of authentic canvass tent and open fires.
Slowly we will help you reconnect with all that is around you. Listening to the natural sounds that surround, feeling the sun or cooling breeze upon the cheeks.
Nature offers a bridge, which can be found deep in the lushness of summer full. Nature calls out to us and we can help you respond.
Our days will unfold, days of walks deep into the heart of the countryside, treks to ancient monuments of stone, tales of Celtic saints, then times just to sit back and get lost in all that is around.
In addition to our walks,there will be times for stories and times to learn bushcraft skills of the wild.
Your 4 night break will be fully escorted/guided and will include walks,heritage awareness, nature awareness,camp storytelling and bushcraft camp skills.
There will be seperate communal male and female canvas tents. It may be possible for you to bring your own private tent, enquire first.
All food will be provided which wil be simple healthy food. Vegetarian food catered.
You will be encouraged to help out with communal camp duties.
Arrive from 3:00pm 18th June – Depart 11:00am 22nd June.
